Open Question: What kind of Audi does the Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan have?

Monday, November 14th, 2011

Matt Ryan is pretty local in Atlanta and i saw him at a restaurant the other night and he rolled up in a really nice Audi, an Audi i heard that is unable to be purchased in the United States. If anyone has any idea of what kind it is and where i can look at on the web that would be cool.
Cheers, Clay

Open Question: Can someone please help me with this problem on statistics? I can’t understand it.?

Monday, November 7th, 2011

(A) Identify the claim and state Hₒ and Hₐ,
(B) Identify the rejection regions
(C) Find the standardized test statistic z,
(D) Decide whether to reject or fail to reject the null hypothesis,
(E) Interpret the decision in the context of the original claim.

If convenient, use technology to solve the problem. In the exercise, assume the samples are randomly selected and that the samples are independent.

16. Money Spent Eating Out – A restaurant association says that households in the United States headed by people under age of 25 spend less on food away from home than households headed by people ages 55-64. The mean amount spent by 30 households headed by people under the age of 25 is $1526 and the standard deviation is $225. The mean amount spent by 30 households headed by people age 55-64 is $2136 and the standard deviation is $350. Can you support the restaurant association’s claim at α = 0.05?

18. Money Spent Eating Out – Refer to Exercise 16. Two more samples are taken, one from each age group. For 40 households headed by people under the age of 25, x = $1600 and s₁= $230. For 40 households headed by people ages 55-64, x₂= $2040 and ѕ₂= $380. Use α= 0.05.

Do the new samples lead to a different conclusion?

Open Question: Should We Have A Licence To Work?

Monday, May 2nd, 2011

I’m 24 years old and in two years I plan on seriously running for US Representative as an Independent.
Illegal aliens are pouring into this country by the thousands everyday. They say they come here to do the jobs we “don’t” do such as picking strawberries. Yet that was probably true 20-30 years ago, now they work construction, retail, hospitality, restaurant, etc. and in direct competition with the law abiding citizens of this country. Now what do you think of this?
Creating a license through the federal level to work anywhere in the United States.

Must have SSN
Must be over 14
Must show proof of residency.
Must have 2 picture Identifications with 1 issued by the US government.

Everything must be verified and approved before they are issued and it is illegal to hire anyone without the license to be employed in this country.

I know this may sound like Big Government and I hate big government. but if we do this it may curb out illegal immigration entirely.

Open Question: Girls, which date will likely result in me getting at least a kiss at the end of the night?

Monday, February 7th, 2011

Background: She recently moved from Italy to the United States. She is 25 years old; I am also 25 years old.

Option 1: A movie, then dinner - We would watch the new Karate Kid movie, then go to a nice Japanese or steak restaurant. After, I would move in for a kiss — then possibly get a hotel room (depending on the circumstances that follow).

Option 2: Disneyland — which is only 20 minutes away. Then after, I would move in for a kiss — then possibly take her to a hotel room at the end of the night.

Option 3: A movie, dinner, then taken her on a flight on a small, private plane (I am also a pilot). Then after, I would move in for a kiss — then, if circumstances permit, I will lead her to the back seat of my automobile in the airport parking lot (where it is nice and dark).
I am a 25 year old virgin whose never been on a date.

Why?

I don’t know exactly.

But I feel lucky this time around!
