Open Question: Can you tell me what you think of my resume?
Monday, December 12th, 2011I posted this just a second ago but I think I put it under the wrong catagory. Anyways Hi there =)! lol I was wondering if I could get some opinions on my resume before I start sending it into employers. Any feedback helps. Thanks!! Oh I had to copy/paste so the formatting is a little off.
Personal Statement
I am an individual who strives to go above and beyond the goals of my employer, to stand out among the crowd, and I encourage those around me to do the same. I work well in a group setting but I am comfortable working alone. I adapt easily to any situation and learn fast. I am a hard worker because I am a firm believer that a job is a privilege and should be earned on a daily basis.
Education/Skills
I am currently attending Metropolitan Community College to obtain an Associates in Business Administration degree.
I have taken various classes in order to improve my knowledge of Power Point, Excel, and Microsoft word.
I have experience using Salesforce as well as SAP.
I type 50-60 W.P.M. and my 10-key ranges anywhere from 8,000 to 10,000 K.P.H.
Work Experience
Call Center Representative
Mckesson/Convergys - Omaha, Nebraska
September 2009 – 03/29/2010
I was in constant contact with Health departments, Providers, Carriers, and Distribution centers across the United States as well as the CDC regarding the H1N1 vaccine.
I used company specific programs to look up vaccine orders, replace orders, research various information, and create cases.
I was one of the pioneers on this project and helped it grow. It taught me to think outside the box, look for faster solutions, and support my co-workers on a higher level.
Manager
Taco Del Mar – Omaha, Nebraska
August 2007 – April 2009
While I was a manager for this restaurant I handled employee relations, stock, general maintenance, and customer service.
After going through intense manager training at their corporate office I learned how to not only perform essential duties expected of a manager, but also how to encourage those around me to be enthusiastic and push themselves harder.
Call Center Representative
Hyatts Worldwide Reservation Center – Omaha, Nebraska
July 2007 – August 2007
I handled calls worldwide from clients who wanted to reserve a room or research a Hyatt Hotel.
I used company specific programs to answer all the questions a client asked.
Though my employment with Hyatt was short, I still took from it an understanding of customer
satisfaction. I also learned that though I was left to work alone, I was still a part of a larger team.
