Why is Subway restaurant expensive?
it’s more than $5 after you purchase a soda. McDonald’s,Taco Bell,and Burger King etc have a dollar menu or value men and Subway doesn’t.

Earlier today, my boyfriend asked his cousin if she could take us to the movies, and she said yeah because she was going to dinner with her boyfriend anyway. So she drops us off, he was to get something to eat, so we leave the theatre 15 minutes before the movie ended (It was Eclipse, no real loss). We went to Taco Bell, which is right across the street from where she was having dinner with her boyfriend. Later, we waited outside the restaurant by her car for her to come out for like, 20 minutes. We got bored and went to Walmart. We were there for 20-30 minutes. We left Walmart, and waited for her again. Then she calls me and says she’s been waiting at the movies for an hour, asking where we are. Apparently she took her boyfriend’s jeep to pick us up. She was really pissed, and was practically acting like my mom. Example: “I asked what time the movie got out. 9:14. I was there at 9:10 and didn’t see you leave.” We got home, I started walking home, and when my boyfriend and his cousin got inside, she started screaming at him. I knew it was about me, because I heard my name.

Does she really even have the right to be mad? Its her fault she didn’t take her car. And its definitely not my boyfriend’s fault either. I feel bad for him being the one being yelled at.

Who would get credit for that? When did it 1st appear in recipes or restaurants? Taco bell has done it from at least the 1970″s, but when did they start and who did it before them?

McDonalds - 1992 although I might have gone in when I was a baby in 1990.

KFC - 2002 although I first had the chicken in 2001 when a friends Mum brought it to their house.
Pizza Hut - 2006 with college. I did not like pizzas when I was younger.

Nandos - 2008
Wimpy Bar - 2008
Dixy Chicken - Never been in or had it.
Taco Bell - Never been in or had it.

Here are 10 fast food restaurants. When was the first time you can remember going in or having them and which ones have you never been in?

I have an interview this coming weekend at a moderately up-scale American bistro and want to know what I can do to prepare myself for the occasion.

While I have experience working in “nice” restaurants, I have spent the last four years working at Chevys, which is about one step above Taco Bell, and want come across as competent during my interview.

Here are some of my problems:

I have very little wine knowledge, which they expressed was essential in my first interview.

I am completely out of touch with working under professional conditions (Chevy’s is a complete mess and always seems to be on the verge of total chaos), and need to know what the working environment is like in a “normal” restaurant.

I feel like I may be out of touch with some of the subtle qualities possessed by professional servers (how to approach guest, how to serve wine, when to take away plates, etc).

My interview is this Saturday so I sincerely appreciate all advice.

i personally love taco bell’s chicken burritos

Anybody know some great cheap things you can get out there? heres a few i know of:

-Papa Murphy’s : The large stuffed pizza, its 15 dollars flat, and you can add as much topping as you want, with no extra charge. I got it, added tons of bacon, extra cheese, sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, and was still 15 dollars. Now the great part of it, is it tastes SOO good, and 1 large stuffed pizza WILL feed your whole family. Our family of 5, all big eaters, can’t finish a whole one.

- Taco Bell: On the 2 dollar menu, deal 4, the beef and cheese burrito. what you do is buy this, it comes with 1 burrito, a bag of doritos, and a medium drink. Then you add in another beef and cheese burrito for 99 cents. So 3 dollars total. These things are huge, when my uncle told me, i could believe him, im like cmon 2 wimpy burritos wont fill me up, boy was i wrong. They filled me up lol. Good deal there, this also fed my whole family for 15 dollars.

I see these Del Taco’s all over the place here in So Cal and was wondering if they are any better than Taco Bell?
