Open Question: What are cool things to do on a wedding reception?

Saturday, May 28th, 2011

It is going to be a posh restaurant so all these “feed the bride with your eyes closed” games won’t do. I mean, in one corner we’ll put a book so the guests could put down their wishes, draw something etc. Than we’ll have a slide show of the bride and the groom’s childhood. Than we’re planning to have a dance teacher who could teach a cople of moves, and, in general, get the guests off their chairs. But I’m not sure about this teacher thing yet. We’ll have a large terrace for our use so there’ll be enough room for any type of activity. What are your ideas? Thanks a LOT.

Open Question: Is it legal to post pictures I took of food at a restaurant and upload them in a public forum, like YouTube?

Monday, December 13th, 2010

I am thinking of sharing food photographs I took at restaurants I dined at and including the restaurant’s name, address, and website in order to inform the viewers where the restaurant is. My idea is like a food blog through photographs in a slide-show format with music in the background. My concern is that I do not know if this is legal, if the restaurant can sue me, or if I can run into any legal trouble at all by making these videos and posting them on YouTube, since the restaurants did not ask me to post pictures of their food or advertise for them. Does anyone know?
