Am I sensitive? I hope girls answer me too?
I know a girl for a while now she is not my girlfriend but my favorite friend, and I know that she likes me a lot, she always texts me for hangouts, I ask/text much less for hangouts because I am shy. Well sometimes when I text her she either texts back late, or doesn’t reply and saying she didn’t receive anything. I don’t think she is lying because I see a lot of good signs from her for liking me her as she invites me for hangouts and tells me to be with her. Few weeks ago she went on training abroad and texted saying I miss you, which make believe she is not lying at all about receiving my texts, and I know that she is a good girl. For Example: Today I was planning to gather with very good friends of us, I texted her saying that “can you join us at that restaurant tonight?” but she didn’t reply at all, while yesterday she texted me about “what about a brunch on friday?”. Another Example, I texted her after I helped her in a social problem asked her “Do you feel better now after what happened and etc ?” the next few days she said I didn’t receive anything. also After week I texted her for a gathering and she replied a bit late.

I tried to discuss this issue with people online and specially with those I met today at the restaurant, it appeared that many people suffer from this negative feeling after texting, which is better the not replying.

Also I she complains sometimes about her mobile (BlackBerry) for being not good, I even noticed her telling someone on facebook “If I only can get my mobile work properly”.

So what do you think the problem is? Do you think its normal? Do you think I am sensitive (Many people say that I am sensitive? please tell me anything this girl is my best friend

I have been dating my boyfriend for five months now and everything has been perfect, except for one thing that just keeps tugging at the back of my mind. He has been the perfect gentlemen and hasn’t displayed any abusive behaviors. The only thing is that when we are in public he has an affinity for holding my hand (which I don’t mind) but he also seems to always want to be as close as possible to me. If we are at a restaurant he will sit next to me in the booth and will put his arm around me. My god daughter actually commented on it when we were out to eat the other day saying it was “weird”. We live quite a distance apart so we only get to see each other twice a week, which I think might contribute to this…he is also a generally affectionate person. He is a very quiet reserved person, but hasn’t displayed any other signs of a potential controller or abuser. My mother was in an abusive relationship so I am very paranoid in general. I just wonder if this would make any one else get weirded out a little, or maybe he is just more comfortable with PDA than me? (We are both 23 years old by the way, so its not weird high school stuff). The closeness seems to come naturally to him and even though it makes me a little uncomfortable it is definitely not make or break for the relationship, he has honestly been a fantastic boyfriend in every other way. I just needed some insight into this to see what people might think of the strange need for public closeness.

My grandmother is 68 years old. She takes sleeping pills sometimes as well as medicine for other minor health problems, although I’m not exactly sure what. Mental illness and depression may run in her family because of unfortunate events that have happened to them but I haven’t heard of anything extremely serious. As for her, she’s had heavy financial problems in the past and my grandfather died a few years ago.

About a couple weeks ago, she began hearing things. She believed that her son (my uncle) had a girlfriend who hid in her house every night. Skip to almost 2 months ago, my mom and my aunt, who didn’t know she had a mental illness at the time, decided it would be a good idea for her to visit us in the US (she lives in Taiwan). She stayed in CA with my aunt for a month, during which I’m 100% positive she showed signs of mental instability, but for some reason, my aunt didn’t say anything to us about it. She then came to New York to stay with my family two weeks ago and has been driving us crazy.

-She hears voices or sees people who are not there.
-She screams at my “aunt” and claims she lives next door to us. (My aunt is the only one of her children who doesn’t send money to her.)
-She wakes my mom up every morning sometime from 3-5AM and occasionally keeps her up for half the night with her yelling.
-She hides her passport and cash in various places thinking we’re going to steal it, forgets that she hid it, and accuses us of stealing her things.
-When she’s not b*tching at my aunt, she’s b*tching about going back to Taiwan. She believes that we buy and cancel her flight many times for no reason. She says she saw evidence of this on the computer, which she doesn’t know how to use.
-Today she refused to leave McDonald’s saying that she had a reason for doing so but didn’t want to tell us. We tried to convince her for 2 hours to leave until my mom asked a policeman to tell her to go out.
-She nags us to death about going out to a restaurant to eat even if the fridge is full and no one is hungry. At the restaurant, she doesn’t eat more than a few bites. Then, in one of her fits, she accuses us of starving her. She also said that my aunt and her family were trying to kill her by starving her to death on purpose.

Oh yeah - sorry I never really asked a real question. I have no knowledge in this topic, so, what do you think she has? Dementia? Schizophrenia?
I keep forgetting to add things in - one of the most frustrating things about dealing with her is that she thinks that whatever you tell her is a lie. If you finally get to convince her, she forgets within the next 30 seconds to 2 minutes and starts the same argument with you again.

Ok, I went on a week long trip with my family and it seems that whenever Im with my family i seem to find hot girls, the problem is that im shy and i dont know when to tell when a girl likes me or not, i dont know how to show discreet signs when i like a girl, I dont know how to talk to a girl…. that I like. and whenever I talk to a girl I am sure, every time, that I am thrown into that “friend pile”. I dont really have that many hobbies, partly because I work and when I dont work my mom wants me to do stuff for her, which im not complaining about because I live in the house for free. Anyways, while i was on this trip there was this one girl, We were on a restaurant and there was our waitress, but also there was another girl who was kind of a waitress but she refilled everyones drinks and also she took plates etc, there were other people doing this too, but she came to the table like all the time and I mean she was beautiful, i kept looking at her but when she looked at me I turned my head away. She seemed to be like all nice and happy while she was taking my parents plates but she acted differently when she took my plates and refilled my drinks, i mean sometimes she would smile and other times she would be serious. What I am wondering is, Did she like me??? and what should I have done?????

There was a second girl that I saw on a train ride, she was really hot and I looked at her and she looked at me and I turned away, I turned back like a couple of seconds later and she wasnt looking, like 2 or 3 minutes later she was looking at me and she looked away when I looked at her, it went on for a while. both of us were with our parents so It would be weird to meet or whatever but I am also wondering if she liked me or not, also if she did what could I have done???

I dont know, to me girls are a very difficult thing to figure out. I sometimes get sad that I will never meet a nice, beautiful/hot girl. I feel that I will be lonely or if im not lonely I will marry a girl that I really dont like or something. I guess I just get depressed that most of my friends have a girl to talk to and make out with, and also that the most if not all beautiful girls are taken, or they are not interested in me, which seems like everyone.

HI, I’m 21 years old, and I recently started dating someone new and I’m trying to figure out if he’s showing early signs of being a control freak. He always plans the date - At first I thought this was really sweet and thoughtful, but if he asks what restaurant I want to go to he figures out a way to go to his instead, or if I want to watch a certain movie we’ll end up watching his. The movie thing went as far as us having a movie that I wanted to watch in the DVD player at his house then he finally said, “lets watch something else instead, im not in the mood for that” - he’s done that 3 times now, and its really annoying. If I call him spur of the moment and invite him over for dinner or just to hang out with me he’ll say something like “Well why don’t you come over to my house instead and we’ll go out” or “You want me over for lunch? How about dinner instead?” But if he calls me spur of the moment its always like “Im on my way to your house, what do you mean you aren’t ready? You have 10 min. See you then!” Its really frustrating. I don’t think he’s seeing anyone else if that’s what you’re thinking because we go out in public all the time (places he wanted to go of course) and we’re always running into people he knows and he doesn’t seem embarrassed. And please don’t say I should just simply speak up and say what I want to do, because I have, and if I wasn’t me, I’d be really impressed by how he can turn a situation around into him having the control. Also, I should mention that his last gf broke his heart and he hasn’t dated for over a year…

Okay I know during political events I’ll see people on corners with posterboards and signs and stuff. Now, what is that called (so I can see what my rights are) if I want to hold a posterboard up on a street corner to help promote a friend’s band coming through town? I don’t want to get a ticket by a cop because I was a distraction. I’d just like to know where I can find out info. Is there a name for that? I also see kids for Supercuts and restaurants twirling an arrow sign to come to their store. thanks

My friend and I have shown signs we like each other but she has a bf, who she is thinking about breaking up with cause she is not happy. She says he constantly calls her asking her where she is. So I decided Im going to do my best to show her how fun me and her can have together instead.

We didn’t tell each other we are on a date but it always feels like we are on a date every time we hangout. I picked her up in the evening and she asked what we are going to do and I said its a suprise Im not telling you have to guess or wait until we get there. I play college baseball and she likes baseball players but never has learned how to throw a baseball so we went to the park walked around the lake and I taught her a few tips and she actually did pretty good seemed like she had fun, she wanted to keep throwing it. Then I took her out to eat at a restaurant, we never have gone to somewhere a bit more expensive when we hung out, usually just fast food. She hardly goes to restaurants cause she doesn’t have the money, so I decided she deserved to go to one. Then at about 12 am we saw a movie and during the movie she got kinda close to me and layed on me during the movie.

She told me on the way home she had fun, and I told her Im happy you had fun thats most important. And then said she is going to treat me out sometime. I never have said to her break up with him, and always tell her when we hangout to make sure its alright. She said we have to do this again sometime, and she texted me the next morning saying she had a dream of us hanging out together. Before that she never would text me something like that.

What are sure signs a guy is interested? If you say you smile at her…I dont get it. Almost all guys smile and some just look creepy with a big ol’ grin on. I go walking home, at a fast food/restaurant, or in a store and a lot of guys will look and some will smile. But they dont do anything. They just keep watching. Some will check us out but will sit there still. I find it like such a turn off when guys dont say anything. Its a mood killer to me. It makes me feel worse. Why dont they just say anything?
Some of ‘em will whistle..but its just a whistle. It doesnt do anything. Some of them will be super nasty/gross/unattractive and be like pssssst psst or chch chhch to call you over. But if you dont come thats all they keep doing.

I felt really dizzy, sweating, bad anxiety, some numbness, headache and pretty much all the signs of hypo…i checked my blood sugar and it was 71 after eating an hour ago at Broncos Mexican Restaurant. So then I decided to eat a bowl of ice cream to see if that would bring it up some and not make me feel so dizzy, disoriented, and the other symptoms….I checked it about 30 mins after eating the ice cream and it went up to 112……so im just wondering and kind of worried if i have hypoglycemia…..my sister has type 1 diabetes and she is now 13. I am 17 and now weigh 140. i did weigh 160 about a month ago so thats another concern.I also have Really bad allergies so that might be some other reason too. Help me out guys before i go freakin out haha….Thanks
