Open Question: What percentage of Chinese restaurants in NYC serve cat, dog, rat or pigeon?

Saturday, February 4th, 2012

I know there aren’t official statistics on this. Ballpark figures will do. Thanks!
Allow me to rephrase my question: What percentage of NYC Chinese restaurants use cat, dog, rat or pigeon as ingredients in the food that they serve to their customers?

Open Question: Restaurants in NYC serving food for toddlers.?

Monday, October 31st, 2011

We are due to travel to the US next month. My daughter will be 18 months old. I am a little concerned about what to feed her during the trip as we wont have the convenience of cooking our own food & she doesn’t like baby food from jars. I would really appreciate suggestions on places where they serve hygienic food for children of her age & also names of a few dishes that she can eat as I have no idea as to what is available there.
Thanks all :)

Open Question: Trendy restaurants in NYC for teens?

Thursday, October 13th, 2011

Hey guys! so this Saturday, about 5 or 6 of us (16 year olds) are planning to have dinner in the city and maybe do something fun after for a birthday.Any suggestions of a cool place to eat; a fun and trendy hotspot for teens?
something fun like LIPS or lucky chengs. The budget is around 20-30 a person
And as for something to do after, what are some suggestions? A hookah bar or something would be cool but most of us will not have ids.

Open Question: Restaurants in NYC that are formal!?

Saturday, July 23rd, 2011

Hey guys. In August, my friends and I want to go to a restaurant in NYC to celebrate my birthday.
I’m looking for a great, formal restaurant with any type of food except for Indian, Chinese, or Irish. I’m a teenager btw. I want a restaurant that takes RESERVATIONS please!

Open Question: Religiously speaking, do you think Tim Tebow enjoy shopping at Abercrombie & Fitch?

Thursday, July 14th, 2011

It’s my favorite store (ok, I think I like American Eagle a little bit better sometimes). I hope he likes it and one day we can go shopping together at my favorite A&F location, the one at 5th Avenue in NYC because it’s huge! like 4 floors of awesomeness. I always get lost there. And since my mama taught me better than being a gold-digger, I will pay for my own stuff.

We can buy matching hoodies and polos. After our shopping spree, we can go eat something at McDonald’s (I hate fancy restaurants in NYC because they don’t have Big Mac sauce) and then sing tonight’s Tonight’s Official Song for Tim Tebow™ to each other:

♫ There’s not a day that passes by
I don’t wonder why we haven’t tried
It’s not too late to change your mind
So take my hand, don’t say goodbye

I will love you more than anything
I won’t say the words then take them back
Don’t give loneliness a chance
Baby listen to me when I say
I will love you more than anything ♫

I don’t know what’s his favorite store is or what’s the best place to eat according to him and that’s why I’m suggesting my favorite stuff, but I’ll be totally happy to go the places he wants to.

I love you and I hope we can meet someday and you tell me about your favorite things. I’m eager to know what’s your favorite song, restaurant, band, color, store, team besides the Broncos, singer Disney World park and ride, ice cream favor, TV show, place, etc. Same with your dislikes. Goodnight, my love.

Open Question: Where would I be located on a political spectrum? And which party supports my beliefs more?

Friday, November 12th, 2010

OK so I’ve been reading a lot about different forms of libertarianism, socialism, and other political philosophies. Just wondering if anyone may know what suits me best and maybe some authors I could read into. I support:

Minimal federal/state government intervension on personal issues. I don’t think they have the right to, for example, tell restaurants in NYC that they cannot use salt on their dishes. (Which is a proposed idea).

Strong defense, but not be the world police, and spend less money on the military. Defense should be there to defend when our country is threatened.

Property/land rights that do not allow the government to claim ownership of your residence/ land your business is on. This is the issue I’m having the toughest time trying to find clear information on.

Legalization of marijuana for recreational use.

Legalization of gay marriage.

Pro-choice.

I do think the government should be made up of citizens who look out for the best for other citizens of the country and therefore provide them with services that the average person cannot provide him/herself with. I believe health care is a right, as well as education.

From what I’ve read I seem to be a fan of social democracy so far. Libertarianism obviously is the easiest term to use, however I feel as though its become a cop-out term for conservatives who don’t want to be shunned for saying they’re republicans, and liberals who want to seem like they’re more fiscally open minded.
