My son is mentally ill, 31 years old, and is looking for part-time work. He functions well with medication, but does seem a bit odd due to his illness. I just got a job as a hostess at a restaurant! I am enjoying it very much because it is my first job and the people seem real nice. The only problem, however is that I have “answering the phone” duty. I usually do not have problems with speaking on the phone but with this phone a guest will call in and you cannot hear a word they say. I feel stupid because I am new asking the guest to repeat constantly what they have said. My trainer is unhappy with my phone etiquette, as I became frustrated not being able to hear. I wasn’t rude to the guest of course but it was just so overwhelming. And i know this sounds lame haha but its something I have to no how to do. Any advice on what I can do? I just can’t seem to hear anything on the line other than manager and etc. hopefully i’ll get used to it. :/
i meant to say i cant hear anything the guest will say except “can i speak to the manager”. and apparently if you go to the manager not being able to tell who is calling and on the phone for them the manager will get angry.

Is your earning pre determined. A brother told me that the amount of money you earn in life is pre determined just like the time of your death. So lets say you sell alochol in your restaurant. Had you not done that you would end up with the same amount of money if you used halal methods.

Okay, We took a trip to North Carolina yesterday (4 hours away.) This afternoon our bank called and told us that there had been charges appearing on our account today. He automatically froze the account. There was a 350 dollar charge to a shoe store, a 75 dollar charge to a restaurant, and a 90 dollar charge to a grocery store. All was purchased today with my husbands debit card. All of the charges are still in our pending charges, and haven’t cleared yet. We’re going first thing monday morning to try and get this figured out, and attempt to get our money back? Is there money still there, considered the charges haven’t cleared? Can charges clear when your account is frozen? I don’t know what to do

When I take my contact out, my eye feels like there is something in it. I blink a lot and have discomfort. When I put the contact back in, nothing. People keep saying maybe I scratched my cornea but today at a restaurant, my eye clouded over. I didn’t blink and went to the bathroom and could see a hair or something in my eye. I tried to get it out but alas I blinked and it disappeared back into my eye. Any guesses or solutions?
