I am turning 21 soon and am going out to a nice restaurant for Dinner with the Family and wanted to know some suggestions about what a good first drink would be. I have had alcohol before, but not in the U.S. I have had Margaritas in Mexico and have had Wine, both Red and White in Italy, but nothing in the U.S since I am not legal yet. I am not a heavy drinker, and do not want to get ‘wasted’ on my birthday with the family. I want to try something new and fruity that does not have a bunch of alcohol. I will only be having probably 1 drink, just through dinner. Maybe a Margarita later since I know I can handle that.

Any Suggestions about a low key, fruity drink that will not get me messed up. I want to be able to enjoy my birthday and my 16 year old sister will be with me so I do not want anything majorly loaded.I am not a partier so no shots at all and nothing with an excessive amount of alcohol. Thanks.

Before:”Mike” was your bestfriend of 2 years (you both liked e/o). All of the sudden he started changing (he’ll rarely txt/call you). Then you asked him wassup with that? he said “I’ll explain later in person please be patient”. This went on for a year of rarely talking to e/o. Next thing you know you meet a new guy “Tim” and you start dating him. You never told mike about tim. Soon you got sick of it all and just told mike “sorry i just see us as friends only”. Mike got sad but he kept it moving.

One year later:
Mike calls you from mexico & finally confessed to you what’s going on and tells you his secret that now he’s a millionaire and he’s been really busy getting rich which was true he showed a bank statement it read 6 million dollars. He also said “You’re the 1st to know of my secret & the 2nd girl to know will be his future wife”. Then you told mike about your feelings towards him again & he then told you “Let’s just be friends please”. Now you see mike driving a ferrari & he just bought a million dollar condo w/ beach views. He’s even about to open a restaurant!. All mike talks about is women, just different women he meets all the time!.

How would you feel? were all just 21

For example, how much will I pay for a beer in a nice café in a safe neughbourhood, for a normal lunch in an average restaurant (not luxury ), for a taxi drive, for a bus ticket, for a movies ticket, for a night club entry, etc, etc

my boyfriend and i are expecting our first baby girl and his sister recently came to live with us here in the u.s. she is not a normal sis she is trans gender(not that i have a prob with that), as soon as she got here she has been keeping him away from me. She asks him to take her places n not to bring me, not only that but in the mornings as soon as i wake up n go to the restroom she goes to our bedroom and lays on my side of the bed…

im not sure if im over reacting or if its my hormones but at times i feel like he rather spend time with her than with me…

oh n p.s. since she has no job she has been depending on his and my income….n since she has been in mexico for 5 yrs she has a list of all the restaurants she wants to eat at…and eating out every meal of the day, every day is really pricey!!

The husband and I both want to take a much belated honeymoon to somewhere tropical with white sandy beaches etc in about a year (not particular about dates. Any time of the year will be fine.)

The problem is I can’t really research trips because I have no idea where the best place to go would be. I’m open to pretty much anywhere, from Hawaii to the Caribbean. We will not be taking children.

Ideally I’d like something inclusive with decent lodging– Doesn’t have to be 4 star, but clean and pest free with food and drinks included would be great, or decent and cheap restaurants nearby. I’d be planning to fly from Phoenix.

Where do the experienced travelers think I will get the most bang for my buck from besides Mexico? (I’d prefer not to go there.)

It has come to my attention that you have to provide a valid SSN in the state of Texas to get married. My friends fiance however uses a fake SSN and only has a license from mexico. Can he get away with marrying her ? My concern is that he is only marrying her for legal status but it sounds like Texas has tried to avoid that from happening. They have been dating for 3 years and he is 9 yrs older than her she just turned 19. Im scared for her she is going to college to become and Engineer and he just works in a restaurant and has no intent of furthering his education. He also claims to have a house down in Mexico being remodeled. Does any of this sound suspicious to you? What should my friend watch for as to if he ends up trying to marry her. For example going out of the state.Should my friend consider first conuslting with an immigration attorney to see if he qualifies for a green card ?

I’m planning on heading off and traveling across America, from Mexico to Canada and everywhere in between. Since this is going to be a long trip and will have to pay for expenses (plus for taking care of a big Rottie dog, too). I’ll be meeting up with extended family and friends through some different parts, so that takes care of shelter and food while I’m there. But then there are places where I know no one, and probably have a low supply of money. What kinds of jobs could I get while I’m just passing through town/city? I’ll probably stay in one place from about three days to a few hours, so what jobs could I get? Maybe dish washer at restaurants, or something that can pay well enough to feed me and my dog and gas money. Please, I really need help with this. I’ll be finished with college and be an MD and ND major (medical doctor and natural doctor). Are there any jobs I could do ??

all i see here is mexican flags, people/mexicans that can hardly speak any english or none at all, signs that are in spanish, people playing mexican music, mexican restaurants, etc etc. you can spot a few white and black people here and there, but thats it. when was the southwest given back to Mexico? and why wasn’t i told about this?
