Resolved Question: Where to go on a date and what to order and how to do it Help Please? (Boys and Girls please me!)?

Saturday, January 14th, 2012

I am 21 years old, and I have never dated in my life. Also I have to know the answer to these questions before the right time comes please. I am actually going to list them in numbering form and also please answer them detail and in the same numbering form, and only answer the ones you could, to really help me out because its going to be my first time. (Points for every one).

1) When I ask a girl out on a Dinner/Coffee, should I ask her where she would like to go? or I just pick the restaurant/coffee shop?
2) Do I give her the Address/Time to meet me in that particular location, or I will pick her up? Also what if she is religious, hiding it from her parents or any other issues (for a while), then picking her up would be still okay or what? Also I might not know if she wants to hide it, or something, so what to do how should we meet?
3) If I am picking her up, do I get out of the car and knock on the door, or do I honk, or call her to come out of her home or give her a fixed time to meet me outside like in front of her garage or what?
4) Once arrived at the Restaurant/Coffee Shop, do I need to pick the same item on the menu that she has chosen or its okay to eat/drink something different.
5) If we are going to a restaurant, does it have to be some place to have Waiters? OR it could be a restaurant where there is no waiters, like you order and then come sit and they will bring it to you, OR like you can go order and then go pick it yourself when its ready. (Think of McDonald’s).
6) Do you ask her what kind of food she likes/if she drinks coffee at all or not, like ask her before first date, I mean may be when you call her/in text message or something.
7) If you go to restaurant where they have beer or alcohol, I mean do they let you enter in the first place or they ask for idea? And if they let you enter for dinner or lunch, and then you decide to grab a drink from the bar and you are under 21, do they ask for ID on the bar or they just give it to you? In other words do they see ideas while entering in the restaurant (like a club) or they just ask for it if you order a drink or something. 8) What if you drink with your girl, then what to do? Like how to come home because you have your own car and can not be able to take a cab?
9) Can you guys please list some Restaurants/Coffee Shops good for the first date, like normal popular Restaurants/Coffee shops people date around America. (I mean off course you don’t want to go the McDonald’s on a first date, but what about Star Bucks, just name some).
10) Also I live in Salt Lake City, Utah and please name some Restaurants/Coffees shops around here if you live here. (But if not answer for what I have asked in question# 9).

P.S. Sorry for a long list, but I really want to know all of this.

Open Question: Which restaurants do you recommend for a US tourist visiting Rome for the first time?

Friday, January 13th, 2012

I live in New York, and I’ll be traveling to Europe for the first time in my life this October. I’ll be in the Eternal City for a week, and I would love to get a taste of some REAL Italian cuisine.

Which restaurants in Rome should I visit during my trip?

I would like to find the finest of the following:

1. White Vino
2. Spaghetti alla Carbonara
3. Bruschetta
4. Crostata di Ricotta
5. Risotto
6. Supplì
7. Gelato

Also, I’ve heard that there’s a rather unique McDonald’s in the Piazza di Spagna. Maybe I’ll try that out as well. lol

So any suggestions?
I missed the episode of Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations where they go to Rome. So I was hoping that I could find suggestions here.

Resolved Question: The drugs that are illegal… what do you think is the real reason why they are illegal?

Thursday, January 5th, 2012

i’ve noticed a kind of common illusion surrounding these drugs though i don’t do illegal drugs i’ve come to question why people so commonly say “they are bad for you”.

they may be, probably are but not even close to as bad for you as McDonald’s, burger king, wendy’s, kfc, or long john silvers. those are EVERYWHERE. not to mention when you have a job and when you go into the break room… there is a microwave to cook your food with radiation so you can “get back to work ASAP ;)”.. there is no oven to cook your unhealthy tv dinner at a healthier and slower pace…

BUT when it comes to mind and body altering substances… THEY CARE and put money into making YOU afraid to take it.

why are fast food restaurants so common? so common people can eat quick and get back to their jobs…

a quote comes to mind:

“It’s a strange world. Some people get rich and others eat **** and die.”

Open Question: Why can’t we talk to the car?

Tuesday, December 13th, 2011

Invention…

Like…

“Command Volume up” Then the car will turn the volume up by itself”Command Window wiper” - then it will turn on for you during the rain.”Command headlight” - then it will turn on headlight for you.”Command change radio station 1″ - then it will turn on your favorite radio station”Command control” - then the car will control same speed”Command time” - then the car will tell you the time, “1:20pm”"Command Back windows down half way” - then the car will roll down its back windows half way.”Command Air condition off”"Command lock door”

If somebody tried to carjack you, you say “Command Alert!” Then the car will go off alarm”

If there is emergency… you say “Command AAA” or “Command 911″”Command open trunk”"Command cellphone text to wife” - then the car will text message for you -”Honey, I’ll be home in 5 minutes.” then the car will say, “Text sent”"Command play CD” then the car will say, “There is no CD available”"Command how far is the gas station”…. while you’re traveling… the car will say, “exit 34b, 10 miles away”"Command hotel nearby” then the car will say There are Hilton and Days Inn at exit 27a.

Then the car can warn you, “there is a deer crossing the road, slow down”"Command restaurant on this road?” - The car’s gps will say, “There is McDonald’s, Taco Bell, and other local restaurants 20 minutes away.”

Open Question: how come a lot of Filipino people work at McDonalds and Tim Hortons?

Thursday, November 10th, 2011

I just got a new job at McDonald’s and I’m not being racist, just observing! I met 5 of some of my co-workers and they were all Filipino! even my manager is Filipino. I’m half Chinese so I’m also Asian, but I look more white. Why do you think a lot of Asians work in fast food restaurants? has anyone else noticed this in their city?

Open Question: Is it tough to be a waiter at all restaurants that have good business?

Monday, October 31st, 2011

I’m unhappy with my job at a very very popular restaurant. We’re more busy than McDonald’s in rush hour (If you don’t include the drive thru) and we only have two waiters most of the time.

I think the owner of the restaurant tries to have the minimum amount of workers work so he can save money. It creates a problem because it forces us to assist 2 or more customers at one time. Are all popular restaurants this tough to work at? I’m applying at a hotel restaurant because I feel that I’ll be a lot more happier there. I’m hoping that it won’t be understaffed and that they receive tips. Am I hoping for too much?

Open Question: Are there any restaurants that sell burgers that arent bad?

Tuesday, October 4th, 2011

Burgers like the ones from Burger King and McDonald’s are supposedly bad for you. so is there a place where they sell good cheeseburgers that aren’t greasy and aren’t so bad for you?

Open Question: Why Is Subway Restaurant Expensive?

Friday, September 16th, 2011

Why is Subway restaurant expensive?
it’s more than $5 after you purchase a soda. McDonald’s,Taco Bell, and Burger King etc have a dollar menu or value men and Subway doesn’t.
