The Staples center is located in downtown LA - the streets are already empty there at night because all the businesses are closed - it’s not like other cities with restaurants, shops etc. it’s just tall business buildings for the most part and a ghost town at night.

The Lakers fans are out trying to celebrate but there are hundreds of police including a bunch in riot gear telling them to go home. The people are peaceful. They were outside the whole day and throughout the whole game without being able to watch it just so they can celebrate afterward and the police are ruining it. Do they suck or what?

It’s not certain yet whether the Lakers or the Magic will be the NBA’s champions, but the foodservice operators at their home arenas are already winners, according to observers.
