I’ve known this guy since I was 16, we worked at a Japanese restaurant together. I’m now 19, he’s now around 26. We stopped talking regularly after he quit the job, but always ran into each other and always seemed to have that click go on. After our last run in, we had a good time and a couple days later he ran into my friend and asked her to give him his number.

We hung out once. Great time. Hung out twice. Great time…but I ended up having to spend the night. Which ended up in sex. Which I’ve never done outside of a dedicated relationship.

We haven’t been able to see each other since because of work and car conflicts, but we have talked every day via texting. Which leads me to this conversation today…I texted him, and he said he had just been thinking of me. When I asked what made him think of me, conversation went thus…

Him- “What made me think of you? Only dirty things.Probably don’t want to hear them haha I got out of the pool and was just wondering if you were feeling better (I had told him last night I didn’t feel good) ”

Me- “Haha, oh, I see! Nothing but a dirty thought to you! Horrible! Haha…(went into another part of the conversation here)

Him- “NO! That’s not what I meant. You’re a beautiful woman. Is it bad that I’m physically attracted to you? Besides I’d be doing you a disservice if I didn’t at least hint at how pretty you are and that I want to do dirty (but pleasurable) things to you because you’re so sweet and you deserve it (goes onto another part of the conversation)

Now I’m trying to decide…what the heck do I take that as!?

Hello, I have been having problems with my ankle. I just started this job where I stand on my feet for the full 8 hours at work and I notice that I have severe pain in my left ankle to where I limp when I walk. And it’s so bad to where I sometimes can’t lift my foot up without severe pain and I can’t stand without support from a kitchen counter or table when I first get up from laying down. Now I took aleave to relieve the pain and I placed my foot in a tub filled with hot salt water. My question is, do I need to get new shoes to stop the pain or maybe lose some weight since I am overweight, could that be a contributing factor as well? My foot is okay when I have shoes on but people notice that since I started working at this new restaurant that I do walk with a slight limp whenever my ankle is in pain.

I currently live off 674 a month 220 of it goes to my rent at subsidize apartment that pay for my utilities
my parents refuse to buy me car after they sold my volkswagen beetle behind my back

I currently work part time as a dishwasher with other disabled ppl and make 400 a month but the government took away 200 of it because they give me SSI

I dont understand why poor ppl are being taxed higher then more wealthy ppl

I subscribe to the internet and have to download stuff illegally i never get to eat at fancy restaurants or drive anwyyerehe

is there anything the USA will help me or do they not like ppl like me? i been to a mental institute like 7 times and i feel very depressed an want to die sometimes i dont uby anything cool cuz i just dont have enough money

and i dont think its fair that i can only make 3 dollars an hour being on SSI cuz the government takes away 2 dollars for every one i earn and i only make around 800 a month while trying to work

is this fair for me i just wanna quit cuz the job is hurting me an hard and the government wont let me keep my money but gives tons of money too pp on unemployment benefits

they also said if i go on food stamps they will take more money from my SSI so its almost useless they want me making no more then 1000 a month so im stuck around 674-800

I want to get a job, but I’m not sure if I’m too young or not. I always see “help wanted” and “hiring” signs by small stores and restaurants when I walk by. Am I allowed to work at those places or am I too young?

ok so im going to be a senior in HS and so far throughout my HS career…I have snow skiied (since i was 7, every friday saturday, sunday during the winter), and thats it for sports. I did a couple HS clubs such as DECA and a mentoring club to younger children. I have mainly focused on my grades, my gpa now is a 3.1. My parents divorced…split all the money up…my dad recently started a REALLY successful restaurant and now he is saying that “he doesnt have the money to ski this year, and that i need to focus on my grades”. ok so….now I do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING…he wont let me hang out with friends anymore…go skiing with friends…i have to sit at home ALL day and study….so what do I do? I want to go hang out with friends…ski 3 days a week…and NOW I CANT! I even offered to pay for ski stuff with my $$ from my job…and I cannot because he put a block on my debit card! what do I do?? I will die of boredom!! WHAT DO I DO??? I KNOW HE HAS THE MONEY…HE MAKES $3,000 PER DAY AT HIS RESTAURANT!! And I want to ski, and go to friends houses…and have fun….before I go to college and study my A$$ off! HELP PLEASE I AM GOING CRAZY!!!

Hey, three of my friends and I are wanting to go live and work somewhere in BC or AB, we’ve done some research and Banff seems pretty appealing to us. All up there will be four of us, all males, aged 18/19 from New Zealand. We are wanting to go to Canada about October, November next year for ski season. Is this a good time to arrive? We don’t want to miss out on ski season, because we’re keen snowboarders. We want to work for a few months then travel around BC and AB for a couple of months as well. We realise its expensive so were saving now but thats why were hoping to get jobs. We will probably take any job we can get, but working at a skifield, bar, hotel etc would be great. Any tips on applying for jobs? Should we go to Banff first and try and apply for jobs or send a resume to some places before we leave? Also what sort of accommodation is there is Banff? We’re looking for a room or small house preferably for four of us. A cheap place, we’re not looking for luxury haha. What would living costs be like?

Any other information about Banff would be great. Whats the nightlife like? What sort of shops, bars, restaurants are in Banff? We’re also keen to get out and do some hiking around the area, Lake Louise etc. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks heaps Alex

Well, I just got a job as a bus boy at a local casino restaurant, and I noticed a very pretty cocktail waitress just yesterday. I wouldn’t know how to approach her, as I know she is at least 21, and I just turned 19. Any suggestions? I’m not afraid to approach her, I just haven’t had a chance yet, and can’t think of a way to without it being too awkward.

i’m pretty desperate for a job so i took the offer of $35 in 5 hours (cash below the table), that’s $7 an hour, here in New Zealand it’s $12.75 an hour (after tax around $10).

I know i accepted the offer. Is there anyway i can f**k my employers up the *** for taking advantage of a desperate student like me?
