Is there a all day parking rate around Punchbowl area, near Restaurant Row? I know theres the public parking garage, but I need an all day parking space, not an hourly rate parking. Anyone know?

hello im thinking about working as a waitress i was all for it because i thought you not only get a base hourly rate but mad tips on top of it too…until i found out that in some restaurants, you have to split the tips between bus boys, bartenders, expeditors, and hostesses. That kinda ruins the excitement about getting tips if you have to split it between so many people…how are you supposed to live off of a low hourly rate and split tips? Besides, if tips are left on the table cant waitresses just take the tips without telling the bus boys, expeditors and so forth…how will anyone ever know?
Anyways, heres some places I am considering applying at, I just want to make sure these places don’t make waiters split tips though, cause I think it’s a bit unfair for a waiter to bust their a** for tips just to split it.
Red Robin, Outback Steakhouse, Chili’s, and Houlihan’s

The more detail the better, and any clarifying with this would help so much as I am new to the whole system of waitressing.
(And is it true that tips now get taxed? I thought any form of cash isn’t supposed to get taxed?)

Would a Hostess position at macaroni grill make good money? I’m trying to save up so i can move out but i need a job that makes tips too. Can i move up to a server from a hostess position and if so how long does that normally take? Or what other restaurants are good to work at and what is the average hourly rate?
