Okay, so we’ve been hanging out for a little over a month now, mostly mountain biking. But I really want to ask him to have lunch with me. We always have good conversations, and tonight we were talking about work and I said, “Not to sound like I’m perfect…because I’m not….” and he said, “Actually, you are…” and kind of laughed. So I don’t know if he’s flirting or if this is just him…some things he says I could take as flirting and hinting about doing more together, but I don’t want to overanalyze and read too much into it… Anyway, he was telling me tonight about a certain wine he likes in a local restaurant that is specific to his family’s region of Italy (he’s Italian) and the fact that I need to try calamari. Well, I really want to ask him when I see him again, “Hey, do you want to have lunch sometime this weekend? I think it’s about time I tried calamari.” Is it too soon to ask him that or am I just supposed to wait for him to make the next move? We made plans to go biking again next week, so I would ask him then, btw…I’m just kind of hesitant because we’re good friends but I’m starting to develop feelings for him and I don’t know if he feels the same way….but I’m really curious to see what his response would be!
I know I tend to overanalyze things….that’s whay I’m asking for your opinions!

So in a nutshell my fiancee dumped me 2 months ago, 3 weeks before our wedding. I have moved out, she has blosked me from seeing her wall on facebook and photos of us together yet she has allowed my friends to still see her wall. I bumped in to her at a party and she spoke to my brother but then was animosity personified towards me. Then she turned up @ my party at Proms in the Park. She spoke to one of my ‘friends’ then saw I was there and left quickly without even saying hello. I don’t know if she still misses me but I guess not. Anyway I still love her and would love to contact her. However, I don’t know what to do. Does it sound like she is over me?
I went to a restaurant last night that I went to with her - can i email her saying ‘hey, I went ‘x’ restaurant and remembered what fun we had. Anyway, How are you doing?’ What should I write to her?

My parents are divorced I’m an only child and I think my father might be gay??

He has this very close friend who’s a guy and they text all the time. sometimes he calls my dad late at night while he’s lying in bed and they talk for a long time.. they ALWAYS text and I’ve checked my dad’s phone.. that guy (let’s call him Byron) sends him texts like “Hey loved one, I miss you so much… love you can’t wait to see you”
He always asks question about me and I’ve never even met him..I asked my father why is he so interested in me and he said he’s dying to see me and that they are very close friends and Byron’s a really funny guy but it’s still didn’t answer my question. Byron is always updated and knows where we are because they always talk. We once went to the movies and Byron sends a text if we’re home already and how was the movie. We went to a restaurant - same thing.

im weirded out by the idea, the moment that i will have sex for the 1st time. im 21. the only possible explanation to me is that when i was about 1, my mom’s physcho uncle kinda forced himself on me. After we were chilling in my car, he wanted out of my car and it was kinda cold outside, so we couldn’t do anything. it was late. he got a hotel room for like 2 hours and we didn’t do anything but make out, lay down and just talk…. all he did really was slip his hand under the back of my shirt. haha.

Hey, three of my friends and I are wanting to go live and work somewhere in BC or AB, we’ve done some research and Banff seems pretty appealing to us. All up there will be four of us, all males, aged 18/19 from New Zealand. We are wanting to go to Canada about October, November next year for ski season. Is this a good time to arrive? We don’t want to miss out on ski season, because we’re keen snowboarders. We want to work for a few months then travel around BC and AB for a couple of months as well. We realise its expensive so were saving now but thats why were hoping to get jobs. We will probably take any job we can get, but working at a skifield, bar, hotel etc would be great. Any tips on applying for jobs? Should we go to Banff first and try and apply for jobs or send a resume to some places before we leave? Also what sort of accommodation is there is Banff? We’re looking for a room or small house preferably for four of us. A cheap place, we’re not looking for luxury haha. What would living costs be like?

Any other information about Banff would be great. Whats the nightlife like? What sort of shops, bars, restaurants are in Banff? We’re also keen to get out and do some hiking around the area, Lake Louise etc. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks heaps Alex

Hey so I was thinking of trying to get hired with a ski resort for the winter season. I am not sure what types of jobs there are on the mountain, and I’m looking for suggestions for ones I haven’t thought of yet.

So far I can think of the following:

Ski instructor
Restaurant
Rental shop
Lift ticket window
Lift operator
various office jobs
ski patrol

Anything else I might have missed? I’m looking for something cool
