My parents are divorced I’m an only child and I think my father might be gay??

He has this very close friend who’s a guy and they text all the time. sometimes he calls my dad late at night while he’s lying in bed and they talk for a long time.. they ALWAYS text and I’ve checked my dad’s phone.. that guy (let’s call him Byron) sends him texts like “Hey loved one, I miss you so much… love you can’t wait to see you”
He always asks question about me and I’ve never even met him..I asked my father why is he so interested in me and he said he’s dying to see me and that they are very close friends and Byron’s a really funny guy but it’s still didn’t answer my question. Byron is always updated and knows where we are because they always talk. We once went to the movies and Byron sends a text if we’re home already and how was the movie. We went to a restaurant - same thing.

sometimes I’m a bit socially oblivious, and I’m also very nice/sweet of a person sometimes to the ppl I care for till the point where it might seem a little weird or overboard :/ .. and where ppl sometimes take it the wrong way. so there’s a guy that I’m not superclose to, but we’ve gone out w mutual friends before and helped him w his problems. facebook told me it was bday, and since he treated us out to fastfood once, I thought id wish him a happy birthday and offer to take him out.. and I’ve been initiating planning it out w him. I think I finally drew the last straw when I asked him…

me: yeah that’s fine, just wanted to doublecheck if Tuesday was okay for u or if u preferred to pick another day. So this might be kinda weird of me to ask since I’m supposed to be the one driving if taking u out for ur bday…but since I dont have a car, would it be okay if you picked me up? john: Lol yeah I’ll drive. I just have to remember to wake up tomorrow to go renew my license.

but then he ignored my txt.. I feel like I went too far and im a little hurt and embarrassed. did i say something rude or socially inappropriate w/out knowing it? :/
should i buy him a little gift for his motorcycle too to make up for it if i did do something rude/inappropriate? (keep in mind that we’re not super close, but I do know that he likes biking b/c he’s told me he goes biking and his facebook has pictures and stuff of it….but i really dont want to come off as a creep or someone thats being tooooo nice/giving till the point where its weird)

im weirded out by the idea, the moment that i will have sex for the 1st time. im 21. the only possible explanation to me is that when i was about 1, my mom’s physcho uncle kinda forced himself on me. i’ve been getting close with this guy that i work with for over a year, he is so perfect for me. we are bf/gf, i guess….. but our relationship is totally on the downlow. we tell each other i love you and all that. we are coworkers at a restaurant, he’s a cook & im a waitress. he’s 27. he’s never pressured me into anything.
2 nights ago when we went out, he said he wanted to ask me something but he didnt want me to think i was a type of dude that he isn’t. i told him i wouldn’t get mad, and it took him a minute but he finally asked me if i have ever had sex…. i told him im a virgin. well anyways, we were just talking, and he asked if i was afraid of him, and i told him no, i wasn’t. and then that lead to maybe. he asked if i was afraid because ive never done it before and i said i guess… i told him im not like the virgin mary like, i have to someday. and i do want to. he told me that he wants to, whenever I am ready, like, he’s not going to ever make me do anything. I said thats cool. After we were chilling in my car, he wanted out of my car and it was kinda cold outside, so we couldn’t do anything. it was late. he got a hotel room for like 2 hours and we didn’t do anything but make out, lay down and just talk…. all he did really was slip his hand under the back of my shirt. haha.
anyways, my question is, i am in love with him as i will ever be. i can NEVER stop thinking about him. and for the first time ever, i love going to work just because i get to talk to him more and see him there. i think he is the perfect guy for me. How come I am not ready to have sex with him yet?? I know he has always been really respectful to me, and he is definetly not a virgin, so yeah, i do want to. I just can’t work up the courage to say I am ready…………… help? lol

Hey, three of my friends and I are wanting to go live and work somewhere in BC or AB, we’ve done some research and Banff seems pretty appealing to us. All up there will be four of us, all males, aged 18/19 from New Zealand. We are wanting to go to Canada about October, November next year for ski season. Is this a good time to arrive? We don’t want to miss out on ski season, because we’re keen snowboarders. We want to work for a few months then travel around BC and AB for a couple of months as well. We realise its expensive so were saving now but thats why were hoping to get jobs. We will probably take any job we can get, but working at a skifield, bar, hotel etc would be great. Any tips on applying for jobs? Should we go to Banff first and try and apply for jobs or send a resume to some places before we leave? Also what sort of accommodation is there is Banff? We’re looking for a room or small house preferably for four of us. A cheap place, we’re not looking for luxury haha. What would living costs be like?

Any other information about Banff would be great. Whats the nightlife like? What sort of shops, bars, restaurants are in Banff? We’re also keen to get out and do some hiking around the area, Lake Louise etc. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks heaps Alex
