I mean , hamburgers and hotdogs arent considered as “meat” ? or , fries as vegetables ? I don’t believe that they have no NUTRITIOUS VALUE at all .
I know that re-using oil isn’t healthy (like they do it on restaurants) but - if youre drying those home , using a natural oil . is it still “junk food” ?

My grandma says she remembers hamburgers, fries, etc being much smaller serving sizes than today - the same as a small or a kids meal. And she says they didn’t have all the different sizes either just the one size and maybe a kids menu. Was it like this everywhere back then?

Hi, so I am not from America, but its been 4 years that I have moved here. I was wondering that what American foods are, and what do you really cook at home when cooking at home. I mean not the regular Hamburgers or stuff that you find in fast food restaurants.
Please list all of the foods you cook at home either for a family on daily bases or for your self? I want to cook them my self either by watching a video on youtube or finding a recipe online.

Okay so a while ago I was thinking that I needed to eat healthier and I looked up a bunch of stuff (okay actually I didn’t) and I decided vegetarian sounds good so I am a new vegetarian but I don’t want to just stop immediately with everything I’m eating because I want to wane myself off of meats and other things vegetarians can’t eat so I went to this restaurant with my friend and I told him what I was trying to do but all he said was, “Being a vegetarian sucks; you can’t eat stuff like bacon or cheeseburgers or bacon cheeseburgers or animal crackers or anything,” and I knew the part about the bacon and the hamburgers but I wasn’t sure about the whole cheese thing, I’m pretty sure I’m allowed to use dairy products but it seems like it goes against the whole purpose of what I’m trying to do with my diet and I also never heard that part about the animal crackers–did he mean actual animal crackers or crackers made from animal parts, or maybe the animal part didn’t matter and I’m not allowed to eat crackers but the only problem with that is that we both like animal crackers which is why he singled them out so my REAL question is as a vegetarian am I allowed to eat crackers at all or maybe he was just telling a joke?

I’m planning a trip to Egypt but one stop is to Paris with a 4 hour layover, so I was wondering what kind of restaurants are in the airport and how expensive is it? Nothing fancy, just average hamburgers, sandwiches, drinks..that sort of thing.
Thanks in advance for any tips you can give me.

It’s going to be a sort of a variety, casual restaurant with a cafĂ© feel. It specializes in sandwiches but has more diversity, with soup and pastas, hamburgers, coffee, etc. I wanted something clever, but I can only cook, not name things.
Any suggestions?

I’m 13 years old but I’m probably below 5ft or am 5ft. I weigh around 90-95lbs.
I don’t eat breakfast in the morning when I know I should.
For lunch I usually buy one type of food to eat such as pizza, ice cream, bag of chips, breadsticks, etc.
But 2-3hrs after lunch which is mostly after school my dad buys my brother and I things like TV Dinners, hamburgers, and treats it like a full meal.
At 8-9pm for dinner I usually have 2 dishes that always include vegetables, fish, and a bit of protein.
After dinner my mom makes me drink 2 bowls of soup with vitamins. When that’s done, she’ll peal a fruit for my brother and I to eat.
Every week my dad takes my brother and I to eat out for lunch but the restaurant are usually junk.
I feel like I eat too much because after dinner I’m semi-full but I’m forced to drink 2 bowls of soup and to eat fruits. I know fruits are good for you but I prefer to eat them as snacks after school. My parents have been feeding me too much food because they think I don’t get enough vegetable or food to eat. But the truth is, most of the time I eat what they tell me to is when I’m actually not hungry.

I am an 18-year-old gay man. My friend and I were having lunch today at a restaurant and behind us, a man was having his lunch. I noticed him because he was very gay-looking, had a pink dress shirt and no wedding band. He was about 40. He was sitting behind us, eating his hamburger, completely ignoring me. I became very upset because I am gay and it’s kinda obvious, people say. He’s middle age and is bound to want me. I’m good-looking. Very, very good-looking. I pretended to yawn and stretch a bit so that I could get his attention but didn’t. Then, I removed my hoodie and purposely pulled my tshirt up a bit so that he would see my back, but he didn’t acknowledge that I was there. I then coughed a lot and moved my arms a lot, but it didn’t work. I didn’t want to be too obviously either because I was with someone, but what the hell is wrong with that man?? Does he think he’s better than me?? If I ever see him again, I’ll tell him that at his age, he oughts to stop eating hamburgers if he doesn’t want to look awful and also oughts to start digging his own grave, because he’s not getting any younger and asides from me, won’t ever have another younger man.
