Me and 2 mates are planning to fly out of Birmingham to go to Portugal in late September 2010.

Which city is most suitable for the following criteria please:

- Good value for money
- Decent hotel located near a beach (triple room)
- Cheap/budget for travel, food, gifts etc.
- Nice beaches and sunny
- HALAL restaurants
- Activities i.e. attractions, sports.
- Shopping options
- Water park (if possible)

I was choking in a restaurant and had to have the heimlich performed on me. They finally got the air passage to clear but the food never actually flew out of my mouth like on TV or in the movies. Is it possible that it just dislodged from my wind pipe and went down the correct way?

So I was just watching the TV show fringe, and they made a comment about a guy being in a plane at 30,000 feet and that having given him a larger dose of radiation due to the increased proximity to the sun. It was compared to a “big head xray”.

Is this scientifically accurate, and if so, wouldn’t people who fly in places often potentially end up with brain tumors or possibly low level radiation sickness over a long period of time?

Then again, I worked at a restaurant for 2 years and despite having my arms under heat lamps alot I never got a ‘tan’ from that..

If I fly from Jacksonville, Florida to La Coruna Spain leaving on November 15 and returning on the 18th it costs a total of $1422 for round trip airfare ONLY….

Why would this be? Can it be right?

I met this girl at a restaurant( i put my number on a napkin:P). She was a dime, solid 10. She texted me like 30 mins later and we just talked about stuff hit it off. She said i was cute, glad I was single stuff like that. Problem is I’m from Las Vegas and she is from texas visiting family here. Of course she lives somewhere else and on top of it Im doing Air Force rotc and computer engineering in college, i want to be a pilot, of course her dad flew F-16s and majored in engineering so she gets it. And were the same age,18.She went back Fri and I didn’t get to see her again. I dont know why I got caught up on her so quickly I met her once. and I cannot stop thinking about her. But we texted for like 2 days straight. I want to see her again, fly out there or she comes here. Should I forget about it, or keep trying to talk to her? It just feels, like…. fate, that we met.
I know it was short but she was with family, but that means she’ll prolly be out again. I just want to know do i keep it going or not?

today was my boyfriends day off from work. originally we were supposed to go to an amusement park but he said he had a Drs appt at 440 pm that he had made on the fly and forgotten about. he said we could see a movie instead and that he’d be ready at 6:30 at the latest. after not hearing from him by 7:45 i called him and he told me i should head over to his house which is 30 minutes away and that we’d drive to a movie from there. i was about three quarters of the way to his house when he called and said the computers crashed at his familys pizza shop and that he needed to go in because he didnt want to trouble his brother to go.i said that was fine and family comes first. he said he’d be at my house at 10:30 at the absolute latest to pick me up to make up for ditching out on me last second. he never came and never called. i called him at 11pm and his phone was turned off so i drove by his restaurant and there was no one there and no cars in the parking lot it was completely empty. then i drove by his house at around 2 am and his car wasnt at home either…….
i only did all of this because he is constantly accusing me of being unfaithful and its usually the people who are unfaithful that are paranoid about their partners….so i texted him a picture of the empty parking lot and strangly enough he called 8x right after…after not acknowleding me all night
