this guy(27) and I (21) are coworkers in a restaurant. he got out last night a little earlier than i did but texted me for the first time in months to hang out. So we got together after I got out and just made out and talked about some stuff.. Nothing serious at all. We have been kinda really close since like last summer..
In July, he asked me to be his GF and looking back at it I know that was such an idiotic move of me to say ‘ill have to think about it’ because I was shy! I knew I REALLY wanted to be his GF even back then, but I couldn’t tell him how I really felt about him… Anyways, since then we have been flirting and making out. We never even hooked up. I’m a virgin anyways.
Well my question is, what can I do? I want to hint at him to ask me out again. I flirt with him so much and I really show a lot of interest in him, I just feel like I am so totally incapable of just going up to him and like, “uhh.. Will you be my boyfriend??” haha. I just want us to be offical.

Also, why did he suggest that we go out earlier? I mean, I really had a nice time with him and of course I wanted to, but he hasn’t suggested we go out since like.. last September or October. It was random. And I thought he would ask me out again.. But we just talked about nothing important.

What can I do??! I will see him again tonight… I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!

I just started working at P.F. Chang’s as a hostess and he works there as a waiter. I just graduated form high school and he just graduated from college. He always does little things for me here and there, more than any other waiter/waitress and when we are walking in opposite directions in the restaurant he always makes eye contact with me and sometimes smiles. He also teases me. What are some cute things I can do to flirt back? They can’t be super obvious either.

we work together at a restaurant we’ve been getting close since last summer. this past months, things have been a little awkward with us.crazy rumors are going around about us. people love to talk. anyway, we’re slowly starting to talk to each other more at work. we try to flirt with each other. i REALLY like him. i just cant stop thinking about him.
i just checked his myspace(he deleted me randomly a while back like a week after he sent me a request) he only has like 7 friends. one of his friends is our coworker. they’ve been flirting lately i notice,some days they talk, some days they dont talk at all. none of my business. BUT when i noticed they were friends on myspace i feel like it killed me. like, wtf.. he deleted me. i feel like i am in love with him.i cant imagine myself without him. he makes me so happy. idk if hes trying to get with her or what… but i just felt like we were so close.. we haven’t spoke outside of work since like march. things used to be so opposite.
The fact that theyre friends online and that they talk at work kinda discourages me… Though when we are all at work together we talk and flirt, im slowly recovering from what went on with the rumors earlier. I feel like all I want right now is him. I just want to kiss him. We haven’t since March, and we used to like, every day. When we were walking past each other in the kitchen today he brushed his hand against my back…. soo.. he still likes me, obviously..
I just don’t know what to do. Asking him out is out of the question.

p.s.-our jobs are not at risk for dating/flirting/etc.. so all is well. and with all the drama going down at my job now, i am considering quitting.

I just started working at a new job about 3 weeks ago and have developed a crush on a guy I work with. I work in a busy restaurant and we’re both servers so we’re around each other a lot when we work the same shifts. We started off great, goofing around my first week and I feel pretty comfortable around him already. We flirt a lot at work, both verbally (joking about me and him hooking up) and non-verbally (poking, tickling). At the same time, there are shifts where we have little interaction when he seems annoyed or stressed with work. I’m trying to figure this guy out, but I need your opinion. A couple of things…
1. He said something about a girlfriend the first week I met him, but I really don’t think either A) they’re still together, or B) that they’re serious. If I got the impression that he was committed, I wouldn’t even be considering it.
2. He’s leaving in August for basic so I only have this summer to snag him.
3. I added him to my Facebook and we’ve been talking a little bit through that, but it’s mostly me leaving comments and he’ll comment on my comment. Ha.
I’m really not good at these things because I’ve found that if I “go after” the guy, they usually only want to hook up and not date. I really don’t want this to be the case with my crush at work, which is why I haven’t said or done anything about it yet. I don’t want to just hook up with him.

What should I do?? Could he be interested? And if so, how do I get him to make the first move?

Oh! And one more thing… I just got off work tonight and we were flirty and talkative as usual, and I was emptying the dirty dishes I carried into the back and he ran up behind me and put his arms around me and starting nibbling on my ear, LOL. Then he continued on and never said a word. It was so cute.

I just got a new hostess job and there is another new host who has been flirting with me. He seems slightly shy, but nice and is cute. I would be pretty sure he was interested in me if it wasn’t for a big age difference between us.

He’s currently currently a junior in college (but he’s in engineering and says he has 2-3 more years to go before he graduates). I’m a junior in high school (17, 18 in august).

The first time we worked together it was busy and he didn’t really talk to me or anyone. However, we worked together again when it was less busy and I asked him about himself to be friendly and get to know him (not flirting). He asked if I was a sophomore in college and I told him I was still in high school. Later that day he started flirting with me and has the two times we’ve worked together since.

I think I’m pretty attractive and definitely more mature than most people my age. However, there aren’t really any other attractive hostesses at the restaurant so I’m not sure if he’s flirting with me because he’s interested or just because there’s no one better and he wants to pass the time.
