It is going to be a posh restaurant so all these “feed the bride with your eyes closed” games won’t do. I mean, in one corner we’ll put a book so the guests could put down their wishes, draw something etc. Than we’ll have a slide show of the bride and the groom’s childhood. Than we’re planning to have a dance teacher who could teach a cople of moves, and, in general, get the guests off their chairs. But I’m not sure about this teacher thing yet. We’ll have a large terrace for our use so there’ll be enough room for any type of activity. What are your ideas? Thanks a LOT.

I want to do cool things like hit up the beaches, check out some museums and art galleries, go to different restaurants, check out the night life, and just overall have a blast. I gotta do it all within 6 days. Any suggestions on where to go?

This summer, I am going to the “small” city of Xinjin for 5 weeks for an intensive language trip. Monday through Friday we’re going to be in school, but on the weekends and during lunch we get the chance to go and shop or wonder around Xinjin. My question is, what are some of the good restaurants, shopping centers, and places to hang out? Are there any really cool things to check out? What is there to do? I’m so excited to go~

P.S. I’m also staying with a Chinese family when we arrive, and I’m wondering if I should give them some sort of gift. Is that polite or frowned upon? If it’s okay, what should I get them? I don’t know if my family is just the parents and child or if there are grandparents too, so any and all gift ideas are appreciated ^-^
