Open Question: Why would anyone order a steak well done?

Tuesday, April 12th, 2011

As a bartender in a semi-national casual dining restaurant, I see people from time to time spend $15-30 on a rib eye or fillet mignon, order it well done, and then smother it in steak sauce. Seems like a waste of a good cut of beef. Is it just ignorance thinking the red juice is blood? (It’s not blood, by the way, it’s proteins mixed with water.) Seems to me the steak is just something to eat the sauce with in these cases. It baffles me.

Open Question: Can you give me this horror film name?

Wednesday, July 14th, 2010

Ok, so , as in the question, I forgot a horror movie that really creeped me out , and i want to watch it again, cuz im a h movie fan :D.
I remember a few scenes and the characters and its ending.Hope that helps:

-1. The film is about 2 teenagers, a brother and a sister, both around same age. It’s also about a humanoid monster who kidnap’s people and it’s particulary interested in their organ’s.
The monster looks like a normal man, with old ripped dark clothes, and a black overcoat. It’s face and bald head are covered with some sort of bandage, and we can only see his “human” eyes.
-2.The sister drives a car with her brother in it.They go in a city, but its not a big one, it more texan-like, with no skyscraper’s.
Scenes:
-The brother falls down in some kind of underground room, where he finds alot of dead bodies, sewed to each other, hanging at the wall. Then he says that there is a girl there from his school, which was reported missing.
-Somehow, somewhere , the monster is chasing them and they run with the car.He also drives a truck or a car, idk which, and its dark , at night.
-They end up in some sort of casual dining restaurant.A waitress tells them how somebody is smelling their clothes in the car and how he seem’s to enjoy it(obviously, the monster).
-An old black woman calls the sister. She says that the monster has a favorite song. Then she plays it at the telephone from her recorder.Whenever they hear this song , they should run away bcuz the monster will be near. The song starts with something like “I love your eyes…..”
-Another scene, the teen agers try to kill the monster with their car, but they discover that he has wings like a bat. They run away after that.
-Another scene, we see how the monster tries to kill the old woman, but he stops, because she is ill and therefore, her organs aren’t healthy.
-In the end, the monster kidnap’s the brother and the final scene is where he wears his green eyes.

that wraps it up ~Did u saw the movie?
