So, I want to buy a present for my boyfriend. He buys me stuff all the time and I rarely get him anything due to the fact that usually I am broke and that I have a hard time finding something he’d like. Here’s a little info: we’ve been dating 2 and a half years. Within this time he has spent thousands of dollars on me and I have spent MAYBE a couple hundred on him. He is 18. He isn’t really interested in sports but he is a very talented musician. He plays ukulele, guitar, piano and saxophone and basically any instrument you throw at him. He drives a ‘95 Camaro and LOVES his car. His favorite band is The Beatles but I don’t think he really cares about band merch. He works at a restaurant and at a record store. He will be starting his first year at ASU in the fall and he’s staying in a dorm. PLEASE give me ideas on a great gift to give him before he leaves! Money is not an object but under $150 would be great. What do boys like? What would YOU want? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
PS usually my gifts to him consist of very elaborate (homemade) cards (I’m talking $20 dollars on supplies and complete with a 3 page letter enclosed), baked goods or clothes. I want it to mean more than any of those things but I want it to be practical and something he can keep for a long time.

So, I want to buy a present for my boyfriend. He buys me stuff all the time and I rarely get him anything due to the fact that usually I am broke and that I have a hard time finding something he’d like. He’s going to start his first year at ASU this fall and will be living in a dorm. I want to get him a sort of farewell gift that is meaningful and shows him I love him. Here’s a little info: we’ve been dating 2 and a half years.
It’s not that I don’t know what he likes, it’s just he never really expresses what he wants and if he doesn’t tell me, I have a really hard time figuring it out. Anything that has some sort of silly, cute meaning behind it usually tends to be impractical or just lame (we’re kind of a weird couple). So what do boys like? What would YOU want? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
PS I’ve already outdone myself with homemade cards and other little crafts which I find to be very cute and romantic. I want it to be something more than that.
I think I can go wrong with something edible. Hah, for just about every other gift giving occasion I have made him a card (or other craft), written him a lenghty letter and baked him something delicious. It’s not that he doesn’t appreciate it (or act like he does), I’m also just tired of giving him the same old thing!

Papa John’s Pizza founder and chief executive John Schnatter hit the road Wednesday on a cross-country road trip, part of a previously announced promotion celebrating his chain’s 25th anniversary that is centered around the prized possession he sold in 1984 to open his first restaurant: a 1972 Z28 Camaro.
