Why is Subway restaurant expensive?
it’s more than $5 after you purchase a soda. McDonald’s,Taco Bell,and Burger King etc have a dollar menu or value men and Subway doesn’t.

KFC - 2002 although I first had the chicken in 2001 when a friends Mum brought it to their house.

Dear, I don’t work at Burger King, or for any fast-food restaurant. Now, inferior, go rant about how Black males have ruined your sexual life, by taking away your girlfriend.

So, I’ve been really frustrated about this. Every time I go out of town with someone, we’ll have to eat at a restaurant. Most of them are fast food. I eat a 250 calorie six inch Subway sandwich almost every day for dinner. At least I know that’s healthy. At least Subway tells you how much something is. Anyway, if I go to a place like A&W, Culvers, Wendy’s, or Burger King….They NEVER to my knowledge post the calorie count of a meal. The only way I can find out how many calories I had, is to wait til I get home and look it up on the internet. They list the calorie count on their website, but of course they can’t list it anywhere at the actual restaurant! How is this useful? I think the only reason they don’t tell you how many calories something is, is because they don’t want you to know. A lot of these meals are seriously unhealthy. Fast food is unhealthy as it is, but it really astonishes me. I decided that if I HAVE to eat at a fast food restaurant, I will have to just order a small order of fries. Things like this, is why America is so fat. I’m not trying to offend any specific person here. I’m talking about the corporations. Yes, it’s the people getting these meals, but I don’t think they realize what they’re really eating. I used to be like that. Now that I’m health conscious, I can’t stand what these places are doing. Like, sometimes I think they’re trying to make people have a heart attack. There was a thing at KFC I think, it was a chicken sandwich, but get this, instead of using real buns, they decided to put huge patties there instead. If I remember correctly, the news said it was a whopping 1200-1400 calories! Oh my gosh….

How do you feel about this?
I’m a teenage girl who’s surrounded by people who eat unhealthy. My mom constantly tries to change my good eating habbits….I want to stay healthy like I am now, so when I have a daughter, I will be able to teach her good eating habits. Don’t blame the childhood obesity crisis on the children. It’s really not their fault.

I applied yesterday and was just wondering if fast-food restaurant chains need to actually interview you even though you applied to do menial tasks

Also, I went down to Burger King and I ask for an application… they gave me this piece of paper that tells me to go to this website or call. What happened to filling out an application on the spot?

Okay, now I’m a Shift Supervisor at a Burger King. I’m a guy, and i’ve always had long hair. Nobody has ever seem to have had a problem with it. I keep it clean, and put up when working.

My district manager however, does not like that I have long hair and wants me to cut it. I’m not sure if he really intends to “make” me do it or not. He mentioned to my Restaurant manager for a second time that he wants me to cut it.

First off, our employee handbook says nothing gender specific about long hair. It just simply says to keep long hair off of the shoulders and not extreme in color. The only thing that my bosses have over me is that the “male model” does not have long hair. But you cannot see either the female nor the male model’s hair.

I am planning on fighting this, because I don’t want to cut my hair, and from what I understand this is considered discrimination and I don’t have to legally follow it. Am I right here?
My district manager has never actually approached me on this. He has gone to my Restaurant manager, and she has come to me.

I’ve been a vegetarian my whole life (born into a vegetarian family and I never knew this. every time I go with friends I just get a drink or fries or something like that.

decided to do something about it and lose weight, the problem is…its too difficult, i eat all the wrong foods, i say to myself ok..after today were on a diet, then a week later..ok after today im going on a diet and no matter how hard i try i always am hungry, im 268 pounds and it seems like i gain 10 pounds every year after year, and i work at a friendlys restaurant so it makes it harder for me to eat healthy because i smell fries everyday and theyre always bringing back ice cream and it makes me crave to have it, i mean i dont want to be REALLY skinny, but atleast lose 60 pounds, i dont ever eat mcdonalds or burger king i hate that stuff, i just want to be normal again you know, ive been fat my whole life and i just wanna be healthy and able to not be embarrased to take off my shirt when i go swimming or nervous to step on the scale, i could really use any tips anybody has got for me, ill do anything at this point, it means alot guys thank you and have a great afternoon/evening ;]]
