I would like it to be a modern style hall/restaurant. I am not a fan of antique furniture/paintings/old rugs. Does anyone know of any newer wedding halls that have marble floors, granite, etc. Thank you very much

I have just recently moved to Brooklyn and I really need a job. I have been avoiding restaurant jobs until now because I have no experience in that field of work. I am a Male, white, 6′1″, and I am 19 years old if that helps. I worked in a grocery store for over 2 years and I feel that experience can help as far as customer service experience is concerned. I sadly don’t have the best face / hair / or smile (damn genes) but I try to be friendly despite my natural shyness. I just want to get a decent paycheck to pay rent and other bills.
What are some good areas to look for restaurant jobs in Brooklyn?
Any tips on convincing the owner/manager to hire me despite my lack of restaurant experience?
Any stories you would like to share?
Thanks in advance.

I will travel to NYC shortly and want to stay within 30 mins of Times Square.I am looking at sharing apartments in Bronx./Brooklyn areas. How good is Washington Avenue, Bronx? I am a working professional and just look for a calm, clean and safe neighborhood with easy access to Times Square. Don’t really care much about proximity to pubs, restaurants, schools

I need a party hall that can hold up to 100 guests for a sit-down dinner + dance floor + space for a DJ. The tables, and chairs, linens, and utensils should be included in the price because I do not want to rent any of that elsewhere. Plus, a place where I can bring my own liquor would be great. Please help! I need all the suggestions I can get, whethere you are thinking of a restaurant, or a big party room in a restaurant, a building that can be rented out for purposes such as these. It would be great. Thank you in advance!

Hey, Did anyone on here watch General Hospital earlier today? In spite of people of people being Mean on here, don’t effect me one (banana split!) from Culver’s Restaurants, so there! You see my
Tongue in virtually sticking out. But, Anyway back to my main question on here: I was watching Gh
Lately, and me and my brother was mentioning just who would we go for, on there that is hot and
Beautiful. He said that he like Brooklyn, which I admit I kind of do, too. We were also talking about
LuLu and her double chin thing going on, (LuLu’s too nice, too). He doesn’t like LuLu,but when I saw
Kristina, even though. She is not quite of age, yet. I started to look at her as this beautiful angel.
I wondered with you all, between LuLu, Brooklyn, and Kristina; who do you like the most?

I’m 18 and moving to New York City to attend FIT. I’m sooo nervous about moving to such a huge city. I’m looking for an apartment in either Brooklyn, The Bronx, Queens or Manhattan. Particularly SoHo and the Tribeca area. Where are some districts you would recommend to live? Also restaurants and grocery stores etc. Any other advice on living NYC would be great.
Thank you:)
