Open Question: Awkward situation at restaurant?
Saturday, November 5th, 2011So I was at Boston Market and was complaining about how I might not have enough money for what I wanted jokingly, and so I went up to the counter and payed for my food which came up to about $11 (I know, kinda expensive, I hadn’t eaten all day lol) and I payed the money and they called me back because apparently it was a counterfeit $10 bill and I didn’t know it, they marked it off using that pen in front of me.
I gave them another $10 bill and asked for the other 10 back since I know what store gave it to make and I had the receipt (I did get a real $10 bill later with the help of a police officer, but that’s not my point), and they wouldn’t give it to me at first and they made such a huge deal out of it, and they almost called the cops on me, after I gave them real money anyway.
My problem is since I like eating at this restaurant so much, how do I deal with my next walk in? I talk to the employees in there all the time, but after that situation, it made me look like some sort of schemer and I’m totally not, should I talk to them about it? Or should I just move on like nothing happened should I decide to go back there? Thanks a lot, 10 points of course will be given. (I don’t see why people don’t give them regardless lol)
