So the blog is done and I’ve already posted 2 entries - but every time I search for my blog on google or yahoo I dont seem to find it. So it was then I realized that no one could see my blog.

So basically the question is - How do i make my blog visible to everyone online? I aqm curerntly using blogspot.

I would also appreciate suggestions of other more reliable blog sites however I would prefer if it were free.

Open Question: how to create a local directory using blogger?

Wednesday, December 14th, 2011

Blog URL: www.whitstablesunsets.co.uk

I’m frequently asked by companies in my local area that they would like to advertise with a text link on my website. I’m thinking of adding a local directory to my blog to include restaurants, hotels, estate agents etc. What owuld be the best way to acheive this using the blogger tools? If I add a new tab for ‘Local directory’ and then add an index of companies that are interested, would that work? My only concern is if the list of companies gets quite long.

Any help appreciated!

Open Question: Does a blog exist that exhibits giant portions of restaurant food?

Monday, May 16th, 2011

A lot of restaurants or small diners will offer a menu option of ‘World’s Largest Burger’ or ‘Giant Steak’ to entice people to come in, try to eat the huge portion, and if they do they get a reward (Like their picture on the wall, the meal free, free dessert etc…)

I am wondering if there is a blog out there somewhere that posts pictures or reviews of these ‘challenges’ or at least just pictures of the huge food servings in the restaurants. I would really appreciate it, if there was one, if someone would give me the link!

((Kind of like Thisiswhyyou’refat, except based around restaurants and not homemade creations))

Open Question: Is it legal to post pictures I took of food at a restaurant and upload them in a public forum, like YouTube?

Monday, December 13th, 2010

I am thinking of sharing food photographs I took at restaurants I dined at and including the restaurant’s name, address, and website in order to inform the viewers where the restaurant is. My idea is like a food blog through photographs in a slide-show format with music in the background. My concern is that I do not know if this is legal, if the restaurant can sue me, or if I can run into any legal trouble at all by making these videos and posting them on YouTube, since the restaurants did not ask me to post pictures of their food or advertise for them. Does anyone know?

Saturday, October 23rd, 2010

Ok , so I’m going to start a blog that’s about fashion , world issues , food , the places I visit (restaurants, events, etc) and other idiosyncrasies that interest me . I just want to know what kind of camera would be best if I was to capture pictures that are great for “in the moment” type or very detailed such as photographing outfits, or at least something that can be easily Photo-Shopped( Great pixels! )? Please include if the price is reasonable & where to buy. Thanks for the help

Open Question: Cleveland area vegans: What are some good Cleveland-based blogs?

Thursday, August 26th, 2010

I would just like to know what the vegan community is like here in Cleveland. Is there a blog of sorts that rates different restaurants and stores? Or a blog that offers easy recipes (besides www.vegweb.com, www.fatfreevegan.com, and www.theppk.com)? Just something that talks about different experiences at different restuarants, kind of like this
http://dieflaschenpost.blogspot.com/
Except based in Cleveland. I think you get the idea now.

Thanks!!! :D Samian: lol, you have MUCH to learn about vegan food. As a vegan, I probably should eat more salad - I really don’t eat that much :/ I eat mostly cheapass college food

I tried doing something like “The Fresh Page” and “The Clean Page” but they were taken.
However, I don’t want anything like “The Vacuumed Page.”

I really need some ideas.. please. Anyone?

Thank you all.

Save the Kissimmee Kast Shuffleboard Courts

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

KISSIMMEE - In an unwise decision, civic leaders in this town are planning to demolish the town’s shuffleboard courts. They date from 1941 and are the Kast Shuffleboard Courts.

That news according to The Daily City blog. The blog has photos and a whole story on the issue.

Because the city does …
