Open Question: How does this sound for a 20th anniversary PLEASE help!?

Friday, August 12th, 2011

My parents 20th anniversary is on Dec 2nd and this is what we’re planning to give them … they had a large sized photo of their wedding portrait in the lounge of our old house, but the glass broke in the moving so I was thinking of taking the portrait and making it into a custom canvas (black n white or colour, which is better??) (I was thinking of merging it with a B’n'W proffesional photo of me and my siblings but I don’t know … it might ruin it …???). Also my mums blender/processor is broken so we want to get her that, and my dad something equally priced. Plus a bouquet of flowers/roses from the three of us to them, roses/petals on their bed, scattered chocolates on the bed, candles, movie tickets for the two of them, and a reservation for dinner/dessert at a restaurant with a limo. What do you think? Should we add some more stuff?? Please help us lol :) Parent’s, how would you react if you recieved this from your teenagers?
Oh and a card as well haha :) Oh and how could I forget champagne!

Open Question: Why can’t I make restaurant style salsa correctly?

Thursday, May 20th, 2010

Okay, I’ve tried every different recipe’s on the internet that I can find, and NONE of them tastes anything like any of the restaurant style mexican salsa.

Well, some came close.
But anyways tell me what I am doing wrong.

I tried using the most simple common thing I read about and that is basically.
Tomatoes “canned and fresh ones”
JalapeƱos canned and fresh ones”
Garlic “powdered and non powdered”
Onions
and cilantro.
some salt

With plus or minus other ingredients.

With different amounts of each.

In just about every combination.

I even asked the ‘essays’ who worked at the mexican restaurant, and they basically gave me the same ingredients and instructions with what I did, but I think they keep leaving out the secret ingredient.

Mine tastes good and all, but it doesn’t taste like the restaurants.
idk what I am doing or not doing????
Any ideas?
=[
a food processor? I use a blender, is that what you are talking about? or is it something else?
