Open Question: Having baby with BF’s brother, she hates me now! Advice?

Monday, January 16th, 2012

I’m in some big trouble here. I have very best friend, who I have known basically all my life. While growing up with her, along the way she had a brother, Lucas. A snotty nose, irritating, jerk of a brother. He annoyed us to no end all the way through high school. So jump forward. I’m 28 and he is just turning 23. I had just moved back and hadn’t seen him in a few years. Anyways my friend invites me out to the club with her and him. I see him standing there (he goes by Luke now) and he is the most gorgeous man there. All grown up. I mean he’s always had luck with girls (jet black hair, blue eyes…perfect combo). But now he has the perfect body and his face to go with it, Wow. So we all hang out and he secretly slips me his number. Long story short we meet up the next day…hang out the whole day and end up at his place that night. I’ll just say he’s amazing! We start secretly dating for the past 6 months because his sister would be pissed. So I’m really sick and go to the doctor and guess what? Yep BABY ON BOARD! I told him and he’s excited. He says we can’t keep it secret anymore. He decided to call family dinner at her favorite restaurant to easy the shock. The rest of the family was all smiles (they love me), but she just got up and left. So here we are today, she refuses to talk to me or him and told her mom that we are liars and she is done with us. I figured she’d be mad but not this mad. What can we do? My best friend hates me?

Open Question: does anyone know this movie?

Thursday, April 28th, 2011

it’s about a guy (who kind of looks like shane west from what i remember) who tries to get with this girl, who is out of his league. so he gets information on her to get her interested in him, but they end up falling in love. there is also another guy who likes the girl and it extremely obsessed with her. i dont know if this helps but the creepy guy obsessed with him was nerdy and had black hair. anyways, the guy that the girl likes (who again looks like shane west) also cheated on tests and the obsessed guy finds out and tries to show the girl that the shane west look alike isn’t for her by telling her that he didn’t really like the girl he was just trying to get into her pants . the creepy guy also tapes the couple when they were messing around. in the end the creepy guy tries to frame the shane west look alike by leaving a copy of the test answers in his bag. then when things go wrong the creey guy says something along the lines of “look at this guy he’s got the answers to test he’s cheating” and out of desperation, pulls out the answers out of the shane west look alike’s bag. then the professor says something along the lines of “this is a test you’re cheating security will escort you out” blah blah blah. and the creepy guy says “no no no it’s his answers!” blah blah blah. then later the movie ends with the creepy getting kicked out of school [for cheating] and ends with him playing the piano and singing about the girl. he was also at a restaurant at the time. i also believe that the obsessed nerdy guy was trying to get into a good ivy league school if that helps at all?

haha anyways i hope this was all detailed enough to answer.it sounds like every other teen movie made in the late 90’s -early 00’s but for some reason this particular movie is stuck in my head!!!!
i havent seen this movie in so long and it’s killing me trying to figure it out!!!!

Open Question: what do you think of my story?

It was regular day. The snow had finally melted and it was warm. The lunch attendant, Mrs. Wentz, had let us eat outside that day. I had my lunch, a hamburger and sour cream and onion chips, and was looking for a place to sit in the grass. Then I saw him. He was sitting down and the sun shined down on his blond hair. I stared at him, amazed. I would have noticed him before, so he must have been the new student, Eric Remzy.

“Bailey….Bailey….Bailey!!” my best friend Jena, who was standing next to me, yelled.

“What?”

“What are you staring at?” she asked. I gestured towards Eric and her jaw just about dropped.

“Who’s the hot guy all alone?”

“Must be the new guy, Eric.” I said. Then, as if he heard me, he glanced our way. I dropped my gaze to my feet shyly, my dark brown (almost black) hair falling in my face. I was never the girl to get noticed by guys because all the guys at my school were so tall, while I was a measly 5 feet 6 inches.

“Is he still staring?” I asked quietly.

“No, he went back to his lunch, you can look now.” I glanced up to make sure she wasn’t lying, which she did frequently. She wasn’t. Jena was prettier than me. She had straight black hair and always wore red lipstick, which I found useless. I only wore mascara to bring out what little color I had in my grayish-blue eyes, while she didn’t need any because of her sparkling green eyes.
“There’s one” I said, pointing to an empty spot by some oak trees.

“Perfect, and right by Mr. Hottie” Jena said happily.

As we walked towards the large oak trees, the new guy looked at me again, and again I looked at my feet. And because I was looking at my feet I ran right into this really snobby girl named Jaycce Reynolds. I fell to the ground and my lunch fell all over me. Hamburger juice and chips were in my hair and mayonnaise was all over my red shirt.

“Bailey! Are you ok?” Asked Jena

“Besides the fact that I’m covered in food? Yeah I’m ok” I got up and threw away the remainders of my lunch. Then Eric came over to me. I blushed and almost stared at my shoes again, but if I did he would probably I was an idiot.

“Hey, I saw you fall over there. Are you ok?” he asked.

“Yeah I’m fine” I mumbled

“I’m Eric” he said, holding out his hand.

“I’m Bailey.” I said, shaking it.

“Nice meeting you” said Eric. Then he walked off to his next class. I went to the front office and told the receptionist, Mrs. Cult, that I was going home early because I wasn’t feeling good, when really I just wanted to take a hot shower.

“Ok, get better soon sweetie” Said Mrs. Cult.

I walked home because it was a short way. I lived in the small town of Gilchrist, Oregon.
Gilchrist was by La Pine, which is by Bend, which I guess is by Eugene. It’s a very small town. It has a school, home of the Gilchrist Grizzlies, a small store, a video store, a bank, restaurant, and some houses.

I got home a few minutes later and took a nice long shower to get the meat juice out of my hair. When I got out of the shower I put on some clothes and got something to eat out of the kitchen because my lunch spilt everywhere. As I ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich I heard my dad come through the front door.

“Who’s there?” he called out.

“Just a thief steeling your peanut butter and jelly!” I called back sarcastically. My dad came into the kitchen and looked at my sandwich.

“Will you make me one of those? I’m beat.” He said, sitting down at the table.

“Sure” I replied, getting the peanut butter out of the pantry. I’m an only child and live with my dad. Well he’s not really my dad because I was adopted. I’m not sure who my real parents were. I never really wondered because Josh (the dad I live with) is really cool.

“Thanks sweetie” he said as I gave him a sandwich.

“Your welcome” I said, then I went into my room to do homework. I couldn’t concentrate though because I kept thinking about Eric. How his blond hair shone in the sun, how his turquoise eyes sparkled as he talked to me. I shut my science book and checked the time on my clock. 8:30 P.M. I lay down on my bed and sunk into its soft comforter and curled up in a nice ball. I quickly fell asleep

I woke up the next day to an annoying buzzing sound. A few seconds later I realized it was my alarm clock. I looked at the time. 6:30am.

“Ugh” I groaned. Then rolled out of bed and took a shower. After that I ate some cheerios for breakfast. I brushed my hair and teeth and blow-dried my hair. Then I but on my backpack and went to go catch the bus, but I had woken up late and got to the bus stop right as the bus pulled away.

“WAIT!” I yelled, but the bus drove away. I usually drove my red BMW but it was getting its headlight fixed after a nasty accident involving a telephone pole. So I stood there, freezing cold, wondering how I was going to get to school, when a blue Chevy truck pulls up next to me. The window rolled down showing the driver.

“Need a lift?” asked Eric,

She had straight black hair and always wore red lipstick, which I found useless. I only wore mascara. She had emerald green eyes while I had boring grayish blue. I tried to find an empty spot again.

“There’s one” I said, pointing to an empty spot by some oak trees.

“Perfect, and right by Mr. Hottie” Jena said happily.

1. i was thinking that to. why doesn’t the dad wonder? i have to change that!

2. i never really thought of that.

3. she was at the bus stop and he drives by and sees her. i thought i made that pretty clear

Hello (:
Well, when i was 12 years old (im 14 now) i started having dreams about this guy that i have never in my life met he had black hair and black eyes. So, i turned 13 and i told my dad that i wanted to go to puerto vallarta. I have some aunts there from my moms side of the family. I stayed with them, and then she took me to this really pretty river and thre was a restaurant there so we ate and we were laughing like crazy cause she was saying that she couldnt speak english well and suddenly the guy from my dream just passed smiling at me. I swear, my jaw practically hit the floor.

And my aunt is like wow, he is cuteee.. and im like .. yeah, he is. When i saw him i didnt even realize that i was smiling. And my first thought was, go up there and talk to him!!! he looked like me but in a boy version (sounds funny, but its true)

So my aunt is like, grab the car keys and go down there. So i did, but he was already coming up so i didnt talk to him. He was in a table with his family, and me and my aunt passed cause she wanted to show me a part of the river and he dropped his fork when he saw me and i just giggled. But it was so weird! He was coming my way and i started doing the same and then my auny said: Come on, lets go!

I never saw him again. I still keep having these dreams. I cried so much, i felt like i knew him and even more. Why am i feeling this way????
I want to let it go, but i just can’t.
Any explanations?
