Open Question: please give me advice, reapply at my old job or no?
so i used to work at a restaurant as a hostess from 16 until i turned 18
now i just turned 20 and i miss that job a lot.
it was so fun.. all the people were so cool and i loved it.
i got in trouble for texting a lot but i don’t think they would care anymore because they always let me get away with it since i was so young and idk they just seemed to like me.
if i went back i would definitely explain to them how much i’ve matured and that i know to put my phone away now. which is seriously do.
also, i quit on a good note and let them know i needed to concentrate on school for my senior year. i gave them a two weeks notice.
i also went back to eat about a year ago and my manager was saying i should come work there again.
the thing is, i don’t know if its tacky to go back to an old job.
especially cuz it’s not an amazing job or anything.
i don’t want the people to be like, why would you come back to work as a hostess at 20?
is it weird? should i just try and work at a different restaurant?
please give me advice.. i know i should make my own decision but i seriously can’t decide if it’s weird or not!!! do you think it’s weird to go back after two years??
