I have a group of people with dogs (it is a private dog walking club with about 100 members and 150 or so dogs) The problem is even though I have many members, none of them ever ALL get together at the same time. The most we’ve had on a walk or hike is about 12. What we were thinking of doing is organizing a “Welcome to Spring” type thing, and make it a picnic, and do hot dogs and such… The problem is getting people to ALL want to come out. And we need some sort of incentive (like a free dog toy or something). I’ve got a restaurant friend who can get us a deal on food, and BBQ hot dogs w/ chips and drinks, at a local park we do our walks at… But I might have to charge a small fee ($5), but in return we want to make it fun enough for MORE members to come… We were going to tell members to feed their dogs before the picnic so they don’t beg for the picnic food, and then also walk the dogs as a group first so they are good and tired. We would just like to try to do something out of the ordinary to try to get MORE members to come out and meet everyone. ANY IDEAS / ACTIVITIES / CHEAP DOG PRODUCTS for LURING THE MEMBERS???
